Your clinician will assess your skin and the areas you wish to be treated to determine the best course of action for your desired results. They will also explain the procedure to you, while answering any questions you may have about the treatment.
Your practitioner first cleanses the treatment area(s) before injecting the Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) into the desired locations using a fine needle. The procedure takes around 15-20 minutes and you can resume your usual activities straight afterward.
Do not to rub or massage the treated area and you should wait at least 4 hours before applying makeup. We advise you to refrain from strenuous exercise and drinking alcohol for the following 24 hours.
