EMFACE Skin Tightening is an advanced, non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment that lifts, firms, and tightens the skin while strengthening the underlying facial muscles. 1. Your Consultation

Your clinician will discuss the procedure with you, and assess your desired treatment area to deduce the best treatment method. At the same time, they will answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the treatment.

2. Your Treatment

Your skin will be cleansed before your clinician sets up the device in the appropriate place on your face. The device uses local ‘patches’ that are placed on the treatment area, so there is no need to break the skin.

3. Aftercare

Drink plenty of water to hydrate and support the skin tissue, avoid harsh skincare for 2 days, avoid saunas and steam rooms for 2-3 days, and protect the skin with SPF.

  • Yes, EMFACE can treat your double chin. By placing the stimulation patches on the underside of your chin and jawline, we encourage collagen and elastin production in the skin which over time firms and strengthens the skin. The RF energy also strengthens your facial muscles, providing a tightening effect to this sagging area. This can reduce your ‘double chin’ or loose skin around your jawline.

  • It will feel like a warm facial massage. The warmth delivered is pleasant and relaxing, and you will start to feel a tingling or tapping sensation in the treatment area. Then, the muscles will begin to contract when the treatment stimulates them, making them tighten then relax. This has been likened to a localised facial or scalp massage, which many clients report as being strangely soothing and relaxing. You may experience some involuntary muscle contractions during the treatment like your nose scrunching, but this is normal. It should not be painful and we do not break the skin, but the intensity can be dialed back if you need during the treatment without disruption.

  • We’d recommend 2-4 treatments to see lasting results. This is because we are stimulating the natural collagen and elastin production within your skin, so a few treatments are needed to keep this natural protein production going. This production continues after the initial treatment too, so your results will develop over time. Many clients love this aspect, as it provides continual skin improvement that is subtle whilst it develops.

  • No, EMFACE treatment should not hurt. We don’t break the skin, there are no needles, and no numbing cream is needed. If at any point the treatment intensity is too high and you experience discomfort, we can reduce it there and then without disrupting the rest of your appointment.

  • Yes, what makes this treatment so special is that it can treat the sensitive skin around the eyes without needles or introducing injectables. This makes it perfect for treating tired-looking eyes, eye bags and hollows, or wrinkles and thin skin around the smile lines.
